I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and am now in my fourth year at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. At Reed, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Media Studies after changing my coursework from Mathematics and Computer Science.

At Reed and beyond, my unique background equips me with a skill set that offers significant value to every environment I enter. My studies have sharpened my analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, and technological literacy which I have found to be helpful in all aspects of my life. My passion for storytelling has driven me to pursue my interest in film; by engaging in independent study and interning at a production company, I’ve deepened my appreciation for creating kinship through film. I am particularly interested in telling diverse stories that resonate with a wide audience and reflect the complex experiences of people with unique identities, stories, and backgrounds.
